The MatrixEMM™ (energy monitoring and management) is Power Innovations’ answer to the age old problem of monitoring and managing the status of individual batteries, for the Q-LS Series only. This system enables a user to easily gather information on a series or on individual batteries. With the information gathered, problems can be anticipated and corrected quickly.
The MatrixEMM is an intelligent module capable of monitoring (an) individual battery(ies) within a UPQ battery bank. A single MatrixEMM module can monitor up to sixty-four (64) individual 12V batteries.
The MatrixEMM identifies when (a) connected battery(ies) fall(s) below specification limits and, upon detection, initiates recharging or auto-repair features. The MatrixEMM will report any abnormal situations, including battery failures, incorrect cable connections, or a battery charge below preset values. Upon detection of any of the aforementioned abnormal conditions, the MatrixEMM will notify the user and, when applicable.
Intelligent battery monitoring and maintenance, as provided by the MatrixEMM, can help prolong battery life expectancy and help ensure optimal system performance.
The Q-Series MatrixEMM provides battery monitoring and management of batteries for the Q-LS Series line of UPQTM systems and provides the following features:
