UPQsoft is Power Innovations’ smart Uninterruptible Power Quality (UPQ) system monitoring and controlling software for Windows, NetWare, Linux, and UNIX environments. It provides a real-time view of the current status of UPQ systems within a networked environment. Displayed in a variety of graphical and table forms, this data gives administrators a current picture of the quality of power being supplied. It also provides a comprehensive history of power related events and UPQ system activity.

In addition to local or remote monitoring of variables such as event time, input and output voltages, input frequency, UPQ system load, battery level, and internal UPQ system temperature, the UPQsoft software can send alerts and warning messages – via email or pager – when predetermined power thresholds are crossed. Additionally, it gives administrators the ability to administer tests and turn systems on or off. It even provides a comprehensive log of applications and files that were open when power events occurred allowing administrators to schedule or to quickly perform disaster recovery operations.

UPQsoft/View SNMP™

UPQsoft/View SNMP is the software that interfaces with Power Innovations’ UPQnet-agent II.  It allows users to monitor and manage any UPQ system (or multiple UPQ systems) from anywhere via the Internet or a dial-up connection.  UPQsoft/View SNMP’s monitoring capabilities use SNMP and include comprehensive logs of UPQ system activity and power events. Through the NetAgent II it can alert administrators of events via email or pager. It provides the ability to turn the system on or off remotely.

UPQsoft/Client SNMP™

UPQsoft/Client SNMP is a powerful utility that extends the advantages of a UPQ system to the Windows workstation In conjunction with Power Innovations' UPQsoft, UPQsoft/Client SNMP automatically detects all UPQ systems on a network and provides real-time monitoring of the server's UPQ system during a power event. UPQsoft/Client SNMP with automatically save all files before performing a system shutdown and will automatically shutdown the operation system before battery backup fails. With this software in place, the NetAgent II can remotely shutdown any Windows-based server or workstation. The result is maximum possible use and efficiency of the public power supply.
