Mobile Power Generation Technology addressed at Sheriff's Conference

Power Innovations' Unique Mobile Power Technology Featured at Utah Sheriffs' Conference

LINDON, Utah, September 20, 2007 Mobile power vehicles, new to the first response fleet, will hit the road with hundreds of sheriffs’ vehicles heading down to the Utah Sheriffs Associations’ Annual Corrections and Law Enforcement Training Conference in St. George this weekend.

Power Innovations Int’l, a leading power technology developer, will be showcasing the latest technology in emergency mobile power at the conference.

“Any generator can provide power for area lighting and other basic needs, but our products provide power capable of running sensitive electronic equipment. We can pull up and power up a data center, a command center, or a small hospital and provide clean, filtered, quality power. We are excited to show Utah’s sheriffs this technology and how they can use it” says Robert Mount, President and CEO of Power Innovations.

The two products that will be showcased at the conference will be the PowerHawk™, an emergency mobile power vehicle, and the Auto-Regulated Motion Power System™ (AMPS™) can be placed in any vehicle to provide 5 kVA of which power anytime the engine is running.

The PowerHawk is designed to assist emergency response teams in the event of a major emergency or disaster by providing up to 50 kVA of scalable power to run a rescue base station, back sensitive data or communication equipment, run a remote military operation, or power any operation where mobile, versatile, and quality power is needed.

The AMPS technology is unique to Power Innovations. Currently used on Canadian Coast Guard Search and Rescue Lifeboats. The system will be shown in a Ford Explorer at the conference. The AMPS converts energy created by a custom designed alternator, into clean, reliable power no matter the rotational input. The system can be placed in any vehicle with a combustion engine and provide emergency response personal with clean, reliable power anytime the engine is running.

The 12th Annual Corrections and Law Enforcement Training Conference will be held September 23-25.
